So I was commenting on Steph's page when I realized I need some help. What do stay at home moms do when you start to crawl the walls? I get up at 7am and go to the gym because our gym charges extra for daycare (a whole other story you don't want me to get started on). So that chance to get out of the house and baby free for a minute is not possible. We live paycheck to paycheck... so the chance for me to go "shopping" is also a non-issue. It's too bloody hot to go outside to the park or go walking. The house is remotely clean so my hubby's not complaining. We couldn't afford daycare in the Atlanta area if we even wanted to! It's roughly $1000 a month!

WHAT DO I DO???? Help me moms!

Sorry about the lack of posting... I got a little upset after my hubby tried to help me update something on my profile and lost all my advertisements! I had worked so hard to get some money making things on here and with one click they were all gone! So thats why I have been MIA for a bit. I just have to start over and now I need some more tips on how to make some money on here.

Let me know if you guys have some tips to help out! Thanks and hope to be back on a regular basis from now on.

I haven't posted in a while. We have been a little busy! This week has totally messed up my schedule... that is if you call what I do a schedule... that's still up for debate! Anyways, we went to Clemson/Greenville, SC last weekend and had a great time. We went up for the US Pro Cycling Championships. Josh worked for the Mavic crew and I pretty much hung out and got to eat at some really good restaurants for free! That's one of the really nice perks when Josh works for Mavic. They treat their employees out to dinner and I get to come along. So NiCe! We also got to hang with Josh's family and that's always a good time.
On another note... I have been religiously going to the gym. I have been trying to lose this baby-fat that I have had since Sadie was born. I have noticed that I am now down to a size 10 but I would really like it if I was a 6-8 like I used to be. I knew that losing weight was an obvious reality after having a child but I never thought it would take this long! Sadie is ten months old and my goal is to be back to wearing my old clothes again before her first birthday!!! Please pray that I can keep on my schedule of going to the gym at 7am every morning and that this FAT GOES!!!

We have been doing a series in church called "Satan's SexED". Basically its about what lies this culture has fed into our relationships and marriages. I was floored when I heard the statistics on our kids theses days.

-In the U.S., 1 in 4 sexually active teens become infected with an STD every year.
-The average age of teens having sex is 13 years old. Yes, 13!!
-The United States has the highest rates of teen pregnancy and births in the western industrialized world.
That wasn't all of them... but I can't find my notes! Grr!

We have an amazing pastor that puts issues like this out in the open for all of us to think about. He believes firmly that the so-called "sex talk" is not just a one time discussion and that we need to talk to our kids earlier about it.
I never had the "sex talk" with my parents and I think that made me more curious. Because of that, I have always said I was going to be super honest with my children so they (hopefully) won't make the same mistakes I did. I want to encourage all parents to think about that subject and talk to your kids about it. It could be the best thing you ever did! Don't think your elementary kids don't know about sex... they do and they need to know the truth about it, not what the Devil wants them to know.

Alright, I will stop preaching. Just talk to your kids!

Josh and I were about to go to bed last night when he was checking a few blogs that he likes to read. Preston had posted a hilarious video from the Miss Teen USA contest over the weekend. We were uncontrollably laughing for about ten minutes because of this...

So last night I was flipping channels and found something that I could not believe. ABC News was doing a special called "The Outsiders" and boy were they!! One of the guests were brother and sister and were planning on getting married... what?!! Anyways, the story that really caught my eye was Jesus of Suburbia. Jose de Jesus claims to be the second coming of Christ. He and his followers get "666" tattooed on their arms, smoke, drink, visit bars regularly and don't pray. They do not believe in sin, hell, the devil or damnation of anykind.

Jose de Jesus goes on to say...
"Before the presence of God, there's no more sin," he says. And with no sin, de Jesus teaches his followers, there's no devil and no need for prayer, because after Jesus of Nazareth died and was resurrected, one can literally do no wrong in God's eyes. And de Jesus practices what he preaches: He loves women and has been married twice. He smokes cigarettes and while enjoying a glass of scotch, he says, "Jesus drank wine because he didn't have Dewar's. Jesus never got drunk and I never get drunk. I enjoy life. I enjoy everything that I do."

Ok, I am the first to say that I do not think having a drink or two is a bad thing. I enjoy a nice glass of wine every once and even a margarita every now and then... but come on! This guy is leading these poor people down a horrible path of destruction. On one side I am thinking, How in the heck are they believing this guy? My other side is, WOW this world is sooo screwed up!

There are so many passages in the Bible about false prophets...

Jeremiah 14:14 - Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds."

Matthew 24:4 - Jesus said to them, "Be careful that no one leads you the wrong way. 5 Many people will come using My name. They will say, 'I am Christ.' They will fool many people and will turn them to the wrong way.

Yes this is a cult! I found a really cool website that sums it up for me. So here ya go...

Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda – Deceiver or Deliverer
Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda is not Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Christ means “anointed one” -- consecrated, set apart as holy.
Unlike Miranda, Jesus Christ knew the purpose of His incarnation (Colossians 1:19-22).
Christ humbly acknowledged God the Father as greater than Himself (John 5:19; 14:28).
Jesus Christ fervently believed in praying -- especially for others (John 17) and in obedience to God the Father (Hebrews 5:7-8).
Jesus Christ is the exact representation of the Eternal God, yet chose to lay down His divine nature as a human sacrifice, dying for our sins (Hebrews 1:3; 2:14-15).
Jesus taught with the goal of honoring God (John 7:16-18).
The Bible warns extensively of false teachers, those who practice deception (Matthew 24:4-5, Colossians 2:8, 1 Timothy 4:1-2, 2 Timothy 4:3-4, 2 Peter 2:1-3).
The Scriptures also tell of Jesus Christ’s Second Coming to reunite all believers eternally with God (Matthew 16:27, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, Revelation 1:7-8).
Do not be deceived. Jesus Christ’s divine nature is unchanging. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas” (Hebrews 13:8-9).

You know, sometimes I think about the fact that Josh and I don't have life insurance. Its hard to think that one of us may not be here one day and how we would live without each other. We have been looking into a few different companies and stumbled across Advantage Term Life. They have all kinds of insurance including, universal, term, employer group policies, whole life policies and life insurance. Get your quote today!
